About

Welcome to Well Within!

We're glad you're here. Well Within is a counseling practice based in the Kingfield neighborhood in South Minneapolis. Virtual and in-person sessions are available with Rachael Sarto and Mark Kaufman. If you'd like to work with us, please call or text 612-399-9230, or send us a note through the Client Portal link. About Rachael Sarto, MSW, LICSW: Rachael offers counseling for individuals and families, addressing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, past difficult experiences, and relationship concerns. She particularly values, and has many years of experience, being of service to people living with illness, injury, or disability. Rachael also offers consultation and supervision for other professionals, and support and consultation for parents and family caregivers. She loves being outdoors, finding spaces for quiet, and connecting with self and others through art-making, music and movement. About Mark Kaufman, LICSW: Mark provides counseling for couples/romantic partnerships and adult individuals. He has worked in mental health for 15 years, and the last five of those providing therapy. He draws from CBT and Emotionally Focused Therapy, and is trained in Discernment Counseling for couples contemplating divorce. Mark's ideal clients often have, or have a family member with, severe mental illness or chemical dependency; depression; or anxiety. He is LGBTQIA+ allied and trauma informed. Mark enjoys hiking and playing with mechanical things, especially those with two or four wheels, as well as woodworking and home improvement projects. Well Within accepts most health insurance plans, including Medicare, Optum, United Health Care, UMR, Medica, UCare, Medical Assistance, Health Partners, Cigna, and private pay. We'd enjoy hearing from you any time.
